Description of Project

This report identified Community Service Obligations (or preferred cross subsidy options) in the New South Wales electricity distribution industry, including those explicitly required in legislation and those implicitly required by government policy or community expectation.  Tasman developed a practical methodology for costing CSOs in the electricity distribution industry.  A number of case studies were used to develop the methodology for uneconomic power services.
