Description of Project

The objective of this project has been to assist the MPWIT and its Water and Sewerage Section in establishing the Section as a wholly Government-owned limited liability company, with clear commercial objectives, operational autonomy and accountability.  The TA has comprised three parts covering (I) institutional development, (ii) legal and financial framework and (iii) financial accounting and management reporting.

The project has reviewed the corporate objectives and determined the organizational structure to operate the Water and Sewerage Section efficiently and effectively as an independent legal entity.
