The project prepared a feasibility level study for a large
$US140 million multi purpose reservoir in Southern Vietnam. The
reservoir will provide water for irrigation, domestic and
industrial water users, and salinity control. Tasman was
responsible for the social and economic analysis in this study,
which involved overseeing a large number of field surveys. The
project was fully costed and project benefits estimated based on
forecast future water demands and tariffs for the various users.
