Indonesia's Second Wave of Economic

Key Minister and
(now) Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono presented a guest lecture at a Tasman Institute and Tasman Asia Pacific
joint function with Asialink, University of Melbourne, October 10th, 2003.
Tasman Asia Pacific, jointly with Asialink from
the Sidney Myer Asia Centre at Melbourne University, hosted a
special lecture, by His Excellency Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,
Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs. The talk,
entitled "Indonesia's
Second Wave of Economic Reform", was introduced by Dr
Michael Porter, Executive Chairman of Tasman; the subsequent Q&A
session was compered by the ABC's Michael Maher, recorded live and
broadcast on ABC Radio National the same evening.
HE Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono also addressed
at a
dinner focused on
Indonesian reform issues, hosted at Deacons Melbourne, organized by Tasman Asia
Pacific and the Asia Society. The talk was introduced by Michael
Porter and the Chairman of the function was former Ambassador to
Indonesia, Richard Woolcott.
